This proposed theme park developed three distinct circulation “loops” with five zones themed as islands, each presenting a different aspect of the popular Caribbean pirate culture. Plantation Island showcases the English Colonial architecture and has a variety of attractions, including a log flume ride and a greenhouse conservatory. Hurricane Island features a thrilling roller coaster and cyclone ride. Tropical Mountain Forest Island has dense landscaping and a splash-filled river raft ride. Each loop pathway provides a different experience of the park. The Holiday Loop is designed to appeal to families and highlights child-friendly attractions. The Adventure Loop offers the more thrilling rides to appeal to the teenage and young adult market. The Garden Loop appeals to the female market, with multiple retail opportunities and highlights the park’s beautiful landscaping and stonework.
